What is Odoo Community?
Odoo Community is the free, open-source version of Odoo. You download it, host it yourself, and pay no licence fee. Core modules — CRM, Inventory, Purchase, and basic Accounting — are all included.
The trade-offs are real. No official Odoo support, no cloud hosting, and several modules most growing businesses eventually need — Payroll, eSign, Marketing Automation — are locked out entirely. Your IT team owns every upgrade, server issue, and security patch.
